topnotch legal servicesWhat does filing bankruptcy accomplish?
It may immediately stop wage garnishments, lawsuits, repossessions, foreclosure on your home, and stop collection harassment. It may eliminate unsecured debt, so you have more disposable income, which will result in more financial independence.

What information can you provide in a free consultation?
During the free consultation, I will explain the different types of bankruptcy. I will advise which type(s) of bankruptcy you qualify for, the cost associated with filing for bankruptcy, and the process involved. I will also discuss the impact of bankruptcy on your ability to obtain credit in the future

What information do I need to bring to the free consultation?
You do not have to bring any documentation to the free consultation. You will fill out a short questionnaire when you arrive at the office. I will need some general information about the type of debt you have, your income level, and the type of assets you own.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Clients should look for a lawyer who specializes in the field, who has a good reputation for being honest, fair and straight-forward, and who will honestly answer all of your legal questions.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
I have been an attorney here in Volusia county for over 20 years. I specialize in bankruptcy, and enjoy helping people get a new financial start in life, relieving the stress and harassment of creditor phone calls and letters. I pride myself in having a very organized office, getting things done in a timely fashion, always answering my client’s questions and alleviating their concerns. I also have an excellent reputation among my prior clients, peers, Bankruptcy Trustees, and Judges. I have filed over 3,400 bankruptcy cases in the Middle District of Florida.

How did you build a successful practice?
I built a successful practice by working hard, providing an excellent service at a reasonable price, being responsive to my clients’ needs, having a great track record, and being easy to talk to. This resulted in an excellent reputation where most of my new clients are the result of referrals from other clients who have used my services.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of being a bankruptcy attorney is the ability to help people get some relief from their financial problems. Financial problems can affect every aspect of a person’s life. It often affects a person’s physical and mental health, as the stress is often so overwhelming that it causes depressions, physical illness, and insecurity in their future. Bankruptcy is a legal remedy that allows individuals to wipe out debt, and start over again with a fresh start.

We may help you stop foreclosure, repossession and catch up on past due house and car payments, and pay off unsecured debt by consolidating bills in a reduced monthly payment.
